Fishy Business – Zahoor’s Fresh Fish Vehicle Signage

April 26th, 2012

It’s always nice when you’re presented with a blank slate. “Here’s the name, and this is what I do”. Thanks, give me a couple of day’s…

Jammy Clothing eBay Store

March 8th, 2012

This has been a really fun project to work on so thanks to Jammy Clothing for choosing me to redesign their eBay store. They sell quality casual clothing for men, women and kids ranging from small to 7XL! Yep that’s right – and they do fly off the shelve’s too!!!

I first looked at what was being sold and how, and tried to make everything consistent and easily accessible. I also designed their logo, fitting in with the clothing theme along with a custom header.

Classic VW Beetle Wallpaper

February 28th, 2012

This one brings back some memories, eight summers ago whilst riding through Teddington I spotted this early VW Beetle. Spotless to say the least, I had to capture it – some of us can’t function without our mobiles for the obvious reason, but I can’t live without a camera! Taken with my then “trusty” Sharpe GX30. So here it is. (Right-click and Save-As on the link)

The original image is here.

Early spring clean…

February 23rd, 2012

A much needed cleanup ends up being a complete website redesign. General feedback is good!!!

I’ll also be producing new illustrations when I have time so please stay tuned and send me your feedback.

Lamborghini Wallpaper

December 9th, 2011

A couple of months ago I designed a wallpaper for my IG account based on a picture of a Lamborghini Gallardo I took (with a camera phone) some seven years prior.

Since then I’ve had several people enquiring about how it was made and whether it can be downloaded as a background. So here it is. (Right-click and Save-As on the link)

The original image was taken with Sharpe GX30 (embarrassed face), but luckily for me it was a bright sunny day so it came out fairly ok.

Ok i’m failing…

…to update our blog!?

Its funny how its always your own website which doesn’t get updated?  Well, we’ve been busy working on a couple of branding projects, produced leaflets and we’re currently rolling out another website.  All will be posted soon.

Living the social media dream?

June 24th, 2011

Jon Jacob, producer, writer and blogger gave a really interesting ‘self indulgent’ talk last night about how he used social media to his own advantage to get a job at the BBC, “if all failed, I’d go work for Sky”.

Jon’s approach of story telling was quite unique as he used content from YouTube to further engage the audience. This was the ‘get it’ moment for me as he then went on to say that the key thing about social media is not social media itself, its about what you say on it, how you say it, its your message and to “exploit everything good about yourself, don’t deny it”.

@CassandraFaria summed it up in a tweet – “thnx for an inspiring talk. Nice to hear from a real person instead of a ‘social media guru’ might even start my blog again!”

Absence makes the heart grow fonder!

May 24th, 2011

The last six months has been manic to say the least and so our beloved site has had to take a ‘back seat’. We’ve been beavering away working for an associate who needed help. We cannot disclose their clients, however we’ve worked on some very interesting online and offline projects for a walking charity and the healthcare service.

We hope you stay tuned!

VaraTechnik on the web!

August 18th, 2010

The new VaraTechnik website is now live! Our main focus is now on content – mostly photographic work such as projects and products for sale.

The website is built upon WordPress and we utilised Flash to randomise the header and to keep things, well random!
